Hasta is a highly vetted group for people who want to back early European technology one company at a time, learn from relevant peers and contribute more than capital.
The model
Hasta sources, tests and leads selected pre-seed and seed rounds. Members receive each opportunity privately, compare perspectives and decide independently whether to co-invest through one company-specific vehicle.
No blind-pool commitment. No requirement to join every deal. The minimum member check is €10,000 per deal. No passive spectators by default. Members and partner funds may be based anywhere. The companies and core technology are built in Europe.
Relevant know-how and contacts matter. A member may help a founder understand a market, find a supplier, reach a customer, recruit a specialist or prepare for the next round.
The Hastati

In the Roman manipular legion, the hastati formed the first battle line and engaged first. They moved in coordinated units, with the strength of the wider formation behind them. Today, Europe's technological front line is formed by founders building critical capabilities before they are obvious or easy to finance. Hasta's Hastati bring early capital, technical judgment and relevant networks to help those companies advance.

Vetting protects founders and the quality of the group. We look for sound judgment, aligned incentives, relevant experience, curiosity and a willingness to contribute. Capital alone is not enough. Member lists, deal materials and open registration links are not public.
